Its time again for today's featured post! I thought a lot about today's item, and I decided to use one of my Cabbage Rose Hairclips/Brooches this time. I really like these. They have a lot of texture and add a bit of decoration to any outfit. I've used them as shawl pins too, if the shawl is made from fine enough yarn.

Today is a double whammy because toDAY is a double whammy.
Today is Yule, the longest night of the year, and the darkest day. It is also the new moon, the darkest night of the month. So to honor this rare celestial event and to mark the changing of the seasons, we have two featured items!
The first is one of my Steampunk chokers. Its a lovely brown checkered cotton and has one of my favorite pendants on it.

Featured item: Fingerless Mitts
Its time for today's featured item!
I'm finally going to feature my mitts. They make a great stocking stuffer, many have matching coffee cozies, and I can make a custom pair in an evening. Usually $10, but today only just $8.
What's so special about these mitts? Sure, they're shorter, but they are still added warmth without losing dexterity. Because I've memorized the pattern and can knock them out fast, and I can get several pairs from one ball of yarn plus some matching cozies, I'm able to offer them at an amazing price.

Today's feature item is another Steampunk Choker. I love this one. Pressed flowers are always fun, but I love it for other reasons. I bought this fabric in bulk, about 20 yards. I've used it for skirts, cinchers, and shrugs. I've sold all but one skirt and a few cinchers. This and one other choker were the last I made with this fabric. and I was sad to see it finished.

I've had these bags at a few conventions and they've sold pretty well. This particular print seems to be my most popular! I just love the Onomatopoeia print. I also have skirts available in this print, they just aren't posted yet because I need a good day with sun to get a good shot, hard to do this time of year in the Midwest!

I have been in love with cowls for some time, and I really love super soft yarns. This cowl is made from a yarn that reminds me of children's stuffed animals, and I think it would be great for moms with small children. Cuddling with mommy has never been so comforting!
This one is in blue, but I have a pink one as well that is a narrower and longer. Today the blue one is the feature, but the pink one may go up as a feature soon.

I created this item because I'm lactose intolerant, and usually get decaf drinks with half the syrup. Once I took a sip of my friend's whole milk, double syrup gingerbread latte and I almost choked! I'll never make that mistake again with these babies. I have like seven of them all to myself.
For this item I am also taking customs at the current price, but ONLY five, so order whatever color you want!

I loved working with this fabric and I want to get more of it. I want to make myself a cute rockabilly dress out of it! I'm starting to get better and better at working with my own body now that I take the time to make fitted items for it! The dress I made for my anniversary photos turned out really nice. Though I have to shy away from halter tops!
